Why Michael Phelps is a douch?

In the past couple of days, the American swimmer and winner of 14 career Olympic gold medals and holder of 7 world records in swimming, has been the talk of all news sites and media outlets.

Phelps admitted to “behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment” following the publication of a photo in a British tabloid that showed him using a bong smoking cannabis.

Now the USA Swimming suspended Phelps from swimming competitively for three months, and Kellogg’s and Subway announced that they would not renew his endorsement contract.

Of course some loonitics around the internet went crazy over such act, not the act of Phelps I must say, instead they are actually supporting Phelps for smoking cannabis. “He won 8 medals, let the man do whatever he wants” some commenters said.

The first and biggest problem about this whole issue is the fact that Phelps was actually “illegally” smoking, meaning that wither it is good or not, he has no right to smoke cannabis until authorized, otherwise let us all live in a jungle and call it “freedom of life”. If people live within a system that honers them, they should obey to that system, or at least try changing before doing illegal acts like this stupid one by Phelps.

I don’t care if cannabis are healthy, gets you rich or fly you to the moon, if it is illegal, then don’t do it. It isn’t rocket science, except if you are stupid enough to not obey the rules.

If you don’t like it, ask to change it and if you think that you want to do whatever comes into your mind just for the sake of your own well, then live in some place where there are no rules, and let me see how you are going to win 8 medals after that. You winning or fighting for a cause does not give you the right to create rules of your own, or just whenever you like.

Kellogg’s and Subway are companies that respect the rules, and I assure you that it isn’t the cannabis that made them drop the endorsements, it is the fact that Phelps actually broke the law. If it was legal to smoke pot then I would be the first to bash these companies, but until it becomes legal, no one has the right to act like a smart ass and create some rules of of their minds.

Michael Phelps admitted that his behavior was regrettable and that he demonstrated bad judgment. I hope that internet thugs would learn to feel sorry like him instead of continue supporting him on an illegal act.

Stop shitting out of your mouths people and get your brains where they should be.
